Million Assists Jamiroquai Secure O2 Deal

First Ever Album Exclusively Available On Mobile Phones”Guardian, October 2006. By talking with Jamiroquai early in their Greatest Hits album campaign, Million were able to provide their record label, Sony BMG, with a framework for a promotion involving a phone operator and a ‘DIY Greatest Hits Album’. This allows fans to download their own Greatest Hits album by selecting 10 tracks from a choice of 20 UK chart singles. Sony BMG could then confidently negotiate the best deal knowing they had artiste and management support. The resulting promotion will be in 400 O2 stores in the UK, with a promotional code given away to everyone who buys a range of new Nokia phones. Read what The Guardian had to say here
