The Orchard and Last.fm Sign Deal

Million have finalised the negotiation of a deal between The Orchard and Last.fm. Under the new agreement Last.fm will receive The Orchard’s full catalogue to use in their streaming radio service. The deal required very careful negotiation since the artist remuneration fee had to be included within the deal structure – something not typically part of a digital agreement. However, this issue was eventually resolved and we hope Last.fm become a very valuable method of music discovery.
